Concept:
Bread can be a very simple meal for anyone to fill up their empty stomach. It serves to provide people as a food resource, keeping people full and warm. The texture of the bread reminds me of a fluffy cozy carpet that can be lying on the doorstep, allowing us to rest our legs there for a moment before entering the house. Wheat bread is chosen to have a neutral color like most brown carpet. This work aims to create a carpet and to display it around the house, moving it from one place to another . (etc, door step, bedroom, toilet) Each time when I stepped into a 'new boundary', my footprints will be left behind.
The prints are clearly shown on the carpet.  It marks my trace and space.
